An electric bike (E-Bike) is a motorized bicycle with an integrated electric motor used to assist power and speed. The electric motor adds power automatically while pedaling with different levels of assistance. They also come with a throttle that allows them to be ridden without pedaling, although doing this drains the battery at a faster rate. E-Bikes allow people with various fitness levels to ride across different terrains and hills with ease, as compared to a normal bicycle.

E-Bikes provide a unique way to experience any landscape. Although they are electric assisted, you will still be powering the E-Bike by pedaling, but they require substantially less effort and energy to do so as compared to a regular bicycle. This allows people of all fitness levels to enjoy biking the beautiful landscapes Colorado has to offer.

Although the old saying “You never forget how to ride a bike” holds true, E-Bikes do add some variables that people may not expect. E-Bikes generally are heavier than normal bicycles, and the assistance of the electric motor allows people to ride at higher speeds than they may be accustomed to. Usually, almost everyone who can ride a bike can also comfortably ride an E-Bike. If you haven’t been on a bike in a while, we will help you get reacquainted to riding before going on a tour or renting. E-Bikes also allow people of all fitness levels bike through terrains that would be extremely difficult, even for experienced bikers. Our minimum age to ride is 14 years old

  • We reserve the right to cancel your rental and refund you in the event that either the renter or the weather is unsuitable for the experience.
  • Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance in order for a full refund to be issued.

Proper clothing for weather, water bottle, snacks, sunglasses, hat. What else? In order to rent our eBikes, you MUST be at least 21 years old with a government issued ID, cell phone number, email address and a major credit card. Anyone under 21 must have parent or guardian sign. Riders between the ages of 12 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent renter. *** There is a 275 lb. weight limit for the eBikes
We provide helmets, bike locks, and the E-Bikes themselves. It suggested that you bring water and a backpack to carry any snacks, sunscreen, or any other items you would normally bring along during outdoor recreation. If you are renting the E-Bike and not getting a guided tour, it is also recommend to bring a phone for emergency purposes (maps, contacting us for assistance, etc.)
